We foster strong family bonds and provide resources, tools, and skills that can be shared with fathers of children of all ages. We believe in the vital role of dads in child development and are committed to empowering them throughout their journey of fatherhood.

Fatherhood & Family Support
Providing ways to engage with your child early on keeps you engaged with them. Also being provided support like Diapers, Wipes and room for conversation are just starters here at Dad- A- Port. We provide practical tools, education, and resources that help fathers show up confidently from pregnancy through early childhood and beyond.
Reentry & Justice Impacted Fathers
Our “ Fathering from Further” workshops not only show you how to engage with your child while incarcerated, but also gives you tips on how to find free resources to attend when you are released. Supporting fathers impacted by incarceration or currently incarcerated with family reconnection, reentry planning, and pathways to stability are vital with working with this population
of dads.
Dad-to-work
A big part of Family Planning for us is having a PLAN for your family. Helping dads build job readiness, connect to employment opportunities, and access resources that support long-term stability is a major part in that plan. From mock interviews to
real interviews, supported along the way.
Advocacy & Systems Change
Organizing fathers to strengthen their voice, influence policy, and improve the systems that impact families and communities. Celebrating our 2nd Annual Dads Day at the Capitol and doubling in attendees shows the commitment and the space for Dads to learn and grow together.

Our Dad Readiness program created a supportive space where expecting fathers could learn, prepare, and build real connections with other dads navigating the same journey. Understanding that fatherhood starts way before the birth was a important point to drive home. Those relationships helped foster a stronger sense of community, shared responsibility, and confidence as they prepared for fatherhood.
Dadversations Matter
Fathers are often given information, but not always given a space to build confidence, ask questions, and connect with other dads. Dad-A-Port creates that space by helping prepare together, learn from one another, and enter fatherhood with stronger support systems. These Dadversations are important to make sure dads are not only heard, but provided the resources they
need to continue to support their families and community.
